This doesn't really address the question but... If you know someone special who DOES want to learn English, GDL School right behind the Cathedral across from Dorians has daily English classes for $7 a week ($30 to join). It is a serious school i.e. they have homework, get their book stamped for attendance, etc. It is quite humbling how fast a motivated joven can learn. I still don't have a handle on the English language! P.S. I remember my high school counselor (in California no less) suggesting I take French as my foreign language. Real great advice. |
