Amous,

Not that TJR needs my assistance, but I do have a slightly different observation on your presumption that being focused on las chicas benefit brings bias to her work.

In the 'business relationship' las chicas have the power and control. We've hashed this one out many times on the forums. But, in reality, that's about the only place that las chicas DO have control. Think about it. They have limited educational opportunities because most of them come from poor backgrounds AND they're female, in a very male dominated society. (an example of how male dominated is that Fox appointing a woman to his cabinet was seen as almost shocking) Without educational opporutity what chance do las chicas have to find a good paying job that will allow them to provide for their families, and give them time with their children. (two important items in almost all of the lives of las chicas)

Besides, what detriment do we have from having las chicas enjoying a safer work place? Wouldn't that make them happier in their work? In many ways, their safety and happiness bring to us more safety and happiness as well.
