After much work this summer to get this place looking like it is ready to open at any minute, all work has stopped in the last few months, much as there was ZERO activity in the construction there for the entire year of '99. Being so close to Tropical I was SURE they must be owned by the same people, but their complete inability to get the place open proves that this can't be true. When the Miami Kong/Tropa/Tropical/Chavelas people want something done it is DONE muy pronto. With absolutely no work being done there at the moment, it must be a case where they either ran out of money or couldn't get a permit, wouldn't you think? BTW, 'eskandall' is spelled awfully funny to be even remotely Spanish. Anybody KNOW what is going on?
