There has been a bit of debate recently about the quality of talent available in the Zona the next few weeks. I want to chime in for those considering spending New Year's Eve in TJ, and my advice would be overwhelmingly NOT TO if last year is any indication of a trend. The Old HK had a whopping total of 3 girls working at any one time last New Year's Eve and it was considerably less if Gissia and Sarai were on the prowl for crystal and had abandoned their posts in the process. CC was operating at about 40% capacity (chicas, that is, not WAITERS who predictably all had nothing better to do). The ONLY good thing that I saw was that AB did not close at 6 AM and just stayed open all night 'til the usual 10 AM opening time. So, if you look forward to passing out in a drunken stupor and sleeping it off IN THE BAR at AB with only the smell of the floor-scrubbing ammonia to wake you up, then maybe NYE in the Zona really IS for you! If you just GOTTA go that night, I'd head for Revolucion. There was quite a festive mood THERE last year.
