My best guess is that the street girl in most cases are not from the big cities. They don't seem to be citified, and they are not as trusting as the club girls. Also it seems that their friendships are with their street girl companions and I don't believe they try and enter the mainstream of Tijuana life. They seem to keep in a tight little group - similar in some respects to some foreigners that come from other countries and seem to keep within themselves in the United States. I have been with certain street girls many many times, but I don't feel that I ever gained their trust. That's entirely different than club girl, who after a few sessions will open themselves up to me. Also most of the street girls that I have encountered do not like drinking besides not smoking. My belief from my experience is that a lot of them are village girls and in most cases where they grow up it in not proper for young girls to be drinking - they can work to make money for their families but it was not proper at their age to be drinking and smoking.
