The other night just reminded me that if you go to the Zona hoping for any more then simply getting your rocks off your bound to be disappointed. I went to the CC thrusday with the intention of hooking up with my new favorite, last time I saw her she said I could take some photos of her if I wanted so I went out and bought a new camera to replace my fully manual twenty year old Nikon (BTW some of the features of these new (fangled) cameras are amazing). I showed up at what I thought would be early, 9:30, but the club was already crowded, to make matters worse my new fav was sitting in the midst of a group of expensively dressed Asian fellows. After a half hour I walked by the table to make eye contact, she spotted me and gave me the "little" sign (FOR TIME!), this went on for the next hour while they all sat around smoking and buying drinks, then another group of Asian guys showed up, I turned my back on her for a minute and when I turned around to check she'd been handed off to the other table..at this point she was no longer signaling me. A homely chica who I'd been talking with asked if I'd buy her just one drink, I took pity on her and said sure, after 5 minutes she told me my spanish was "very bad", then she told me my amiga probably didn't like me, then she got pissed when I wouldn't take her upstairs. Meanwhile my amiga had been sitting with these guys for over 2 hours and hadn't yet gone upstairs, just sitting, drinking and smoking. I finally got disgusted and headed over to the AB to collect my buddy and head home. While trying to find him some chica with big cartoon boobs and straight black hair asks me if I want to go up, she was from Sonora, think she said her name was Monica. I figured I'd try to salvage the evening and went up with her. Once in the room she was all business but very competent and got me off in record time. She then rushed out leaving the door wide open and me completely naked while I tried to find my underwear. Overall the whole evening felt pretty pointless and left me wondering why I even bother.
