I think the potential for degenerating civility increases on this board as we refuse to clarify the rules. I think the potential for flaming/spam could be cut off at the balls by simply adding a link to Laker's site AND prohibiting his announcements. The only site linked here is Brockton O'Toole's FAQ but there are other important sites out there. For the monger who does not want to leave an incriminating set of bookmarks on their computer, an expansive links section (such as on Redsnake) is invaluable. Treat commercial and non-commercial exactly alike, just don't allow them to advertise on the message board. It is the monger's decision to use addtional travel, monger, etc...sites. Trust him to make the decision as to what is valuable. As for Lakers, all I can say is what I've said before. Anyone who believes that he alone is responsible for the demise of redsnake is in denial. It takes two to tango. The anti-Lakers crew engages in repeated personal attacks, despite the clear rule against it, and refuses to let the past wars die a peaceful death. Lakers himself continues to post info about his site which he knows is bound to provoke a reaction. TJHombre, I think you can prevent many future problems by clarifying the rules, enforcing them, and adding a few dozen harmless links. Anyone agree?
