Hmm... I guess my point that this is a viable and sensible decision made by women wasn't made clearly enough. There is no denying that it makes sense in any country -- however, women (in general) have fewer options than men in every country as well. The point that I was trying to make is that women in Mexico (esp. those who are migrating into Tijuana for precisely this reason), have even less viable options than women in some other countries (the U.S. included). That women have less options in a tragic remnant of our shared history. That it is accepted that women continue to be limited by this is a travesty. I sense you feel offended by what I said, but I don't see us disagreeing on this point... Unless I didn't understand your post.
