Some of us remember who was responsible for putting up the HK site, and further, we remember that this person fell out of grace with the ownership/management over some of those business dealings. Perhaps there is some ploy to 'regain face' by increasing traffic to that site.

In my mind, this posting is a CLEAR violation of the rule TJHombre has posted that forbids posting of URLs for commercial services. The HK board is a shill for that family of clubs. To the best of my knowledge, TJH has not approved this link for posting. Otherwise, we'd see it on the links page.

Jimbos posting is SPAM in a far more obvious way than any of Lakers postings. Sure, Juan's board is an alternative to this one, but there is NO commercial focus to his site. (please note that I said 'focus')

I've noticed that the link to Juan's board was removed from the links page that TJHombre has, and I can only presume that there was no 'meeting of the minds' as to the photos de las chicas issue. (TJH had a note that the link was pending review of that issue) To that end, I personally object to ANY photo that shows the face of una chica unless there is clear evidence that the chica is aware of the publication of her image, and has given expressed permission for said publication. In my mind, it is a matter of personal privacy for las chicas. By posting their photos, there is risk that the image could get back to the chicas family, and that could be disastrous for her. In discussions with women in other, more Internet savvy countries, the ladies are VERY CLEAR that they do NOT ever want their image posted on the net. As such, most of these girls will NOT allow photos of themselves to be taken.

I've expressed my opinion to the owner of one site that posts photos, and was told that the ownership did not share my feelings, but expressed an understanding of my position. We agreed to disagree. I have curtailed my involvement with this site due to my personal ethics of this issue.

In the case of the HK site, I find it deeply disturbing that the faces of the guys are blurred, but not the faces of las chicas. Not even the faces of "las chicas de la calle" are blurred, and these chicas don't work for the ownership of HK. Nor, were any of these chicas paid for the posting of their photos, I'm quite sure.

When there was an outbreak of Red Snake posts being shared with las chicas, the hue and cry could be heard without the benefit of an Internet connection. I myself was outraged at the behavior being shown. But, how is this any different? Why is it okay to reveal the ID of una chica okay? (with a photo, no less) Yet, when there is ANY info about members of our community revealed, the cry goes out about how wrong this is. To the best of my knowledge, not member of this community has had their posted to the net, but I can just imagine the rightful outrage that would ensue.

It used to be that the general attitude towards las chicas was one of compassion and understanding of their social and economic condition. Sure, we still partook of the services offered, but at the same time the community showed some respect for the dignity of las chicas lives outside of La Zona. We had lives outside La Zona, and so did las chicas. It was understood that we'd each respect one another's 'real' lives and keep them protected. Now, it seems that there is no distinction as far as the lives of las chicas are concerned.

We have a significant lack of ethics being shown here. (IMHO) This is an issue of respect, dignity and a lack of human compassion being shown to these women. I find this disappointing.
