After spending the day with Favorita #2 yesterday we went to Plaza Fiesta to drink and finish off the nite. This was my second time there,and we had the most outrageously good time so I thought I'd tell you a little bit in case you guys want to go. This group of building across from Plaza Rio is dead in the daytime but at nite it rocks. It's similar to any upscale watering hole on our side of the border,Loud dance music,both American and Spanish POP. Mostly 20 something types,but don't let that deter you,everyone is very friendly. You sit and people watch,lots and lots of beautiful Chica's,guys dressed up and many wearing ties. The place starts jamming about 9 and by 12 it's packed,and everyone and I mean EVERYONE IS standing by their tables just letting it go,danceing like crazy and drinking and you can make friends with strangers so easily. Both times I have been on a Friday so I don't know about other nites. I highly recommend this place if youv'e got a date or favorita you want to have a good time with before OR after the hotel. There are several bars in this place and I don't know which one we were in,but they all look the same from outside,everyone of them was jammed with people,it's like a HUGE party and all your friends are there. The image of all these beautifully dressed gorgeous Chica's danceing all over the bar with their hands above their heads making out and grinding their boyfriends to the music will be something permanently etched into my brain forever. We had 12 beers between us and I had a Kahula,6.00 cover this nite because a radio station was there,toal was 52.00. I had had Martini's with dinner and when we left I was gassed,I mean BOMBED. I had to sleep in my truck till a tow truck driver woke me up,he was going to haul me away,this was after I got sick and Ralphed up my dinner,oh well,rolled up my drive at 3 in the morning, and right now I'm as they say in the movie " in a world of shit". Not hungover,just with mi espousza. |
