Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking about working up to actually beginning to consider thinking about sitting down and writing up the contents of "la bolsa de la fiesta" (party bag). Actually there are 3 levels of bolsa de la fiesta para fiesta grande, fiesta, y fiesta "mini". The bolsa de la fiesta mini fits in my back pocket. The bolsa de la fiesta fits in a shoulder bag, and la bolsa de la fiesta grande requires luggage on wheels. My Spanish consists of an adequate supply of nouns and verbs to get across the message. I'm probably wrong most of the time on conjugations, right person, tenses, etc. However, I seem to be pretty facile at mixing and matching the nouns and verbs to generate unique sentences that get my message across and at the same time keep las senoritas amused. I'm sure that much of their amusement is a result of my non-standard way of saying things. I really haven't spent much time formally studying Spanish but I've been interested in "comunicacion" most of my life. If it's true that communication is only 10-20% words and 80-90% facial expressions, body language, etc. then you should be able to communicate across any language. In fact there's an interesting book called Human Universals that demonstrated facial expressions transcend language and are universal across all known cultures. I think that my understanding of hypnosis is far more important for communicating than a fluent understanding of Spanish. It's very helpful in putting las senoritas at ease so they feel comfortable. A good source is some of the books written by Richard Bandler. If she's special, then ask her who her favorite singer is. When it comes to romantic moods, all the ones I've met so far go for Luis Miguel and Jose Jose. If you hear about any others please post their names.
