Yes. The rates in Mexico for insurance are done a little different than here. If you drive in Mexico you should call your insurance company and inquire if they have a source for insurance for you. For the cost of buying insurance at the boarder a couple of times you can have a years worth of coverage. Century 21 insurance offers it through MexiPass International services, inc. P.O. Box 1109, South Pasadena, CA 91031-9945. The policy is underwritten by AGI Mexico Seguros Interamericana AV. Insurgentes sur 1136, Col. del Valle, C.P. 03219, Mexico, D.F.. Annual policy rates start as low as 75 dollars. |
