Well my friend, I could have written that story about your experience in the "san diego adelitas" myself. I basically just stopped going to those places because they are such a waste of time. The girls are snotty and unfriendly, and I've never gotten anywhere in a bar. I'm tired of standing in lines to pay someone $10 for the privilege of buying over priced drinks from him. Meanwhile, I can go see one of my favs for some friendly chatter and a good time upstairs. I never consciously stopped going to bars, I just got to the point where I couldn't make myself do it come the weekend night. Now I'm thinking of getting married, but all you guys posting about how it sucks is really giving me second thoughts. But then who takes care of you when you're old??
