Costa Rica has a good setup. Prostitution is legal but pimping is not legal and is enforced pretty stictly. By disallowing pimping it keeps the drug problem more minimal and the girls can get out of prostitution more easily if they choose. There are many girls from other countries in Latin and South America that go to Costa Rica to work. I would guess they feel more protected by the laws that prevents pimping and can pick and choose when they want to work and who they see. Also they crack down real hard on child prostitution. The USA should wake up and stop being so hypocritical. If women have the right to choose to do with their bodies when it comes to abortion......they should have they same right to sell their body for money of their own free will. Make the pimps illegal...that is where most of the drugs and exploitation happens.
