Almost everyone in my world who doesn't patronize sex workers associates only Bangkok and Amsterdam with sex tourism...and both of those places are also major destinations for non-sex tourism. Hell, the innocents that surround me don't even know what pleasures of the flesh that TJ holds!! My own clueless friends and family would wonder aloud if I ever told them I was visiting Dominican Republic or Medellin - maybe Pnomh Penh (but sex tourism wouldn't come to mind, only the state of my sanity in general) - but the rest of the world wouldn't raise an eyebrow. OK, I wouldn't be yelling aloud that I can't wait to get to Nuevo Laredo, Juarez or Mexicali either. :)
