Chica selection in Mid-February?

I am going to San Diego and TJ in Mid-February. Will the selection still be very poor? I was really looking forward to this trip and I am wondering if I should reconsider now. I was hoping the selection would be up to par by then.
Some people are saying that the selection won't be good into April or May?
