Just to make sure everyone knows the "facts". There has been a lot of kidding and speculation about the guy with the electrodes who walks around the clubs. Some people believe that it has some "healing" power, or that it strengthens a person against (insert one) alcohol, drugs, disease, or whatever. The facts: Believe what you will. It simply is running an electrical current thru your body. It is usually done as a test of strength to see how long you can put up with the pain. There is no scientific basis that I can find that suggests doing this with uncelebrated equipment once in a bar in TJ will have any benefit whatsoever, except to separate you from some of your cash. There is potential danger involved, depending on many factors, including your health, and the amount of juice the machine puts into your body. With no potential benefit, I would hope people reading this would be smart enough NOT to try this, especially with a device of unknown quality and reliability in a foreign country.
