My favorite bars... 1. AB...What can I say that hasn't already been said? Well, one thing that AB doesn't get enough credit for is the constant trickle of new chicas it gets. There always seems to be a new chica in the wings in addition to the traditional hotties. AB is also hopping any time of day which is good for guys with unpredictable schedules. My day shift experiences have even been better than my night time ones. 2. Tropical...IMO, Trop can be a blast to hang out in. The chicas like to dance, they can be a lot of fun downstairs, and it's enjoyable to practice my spanish with a smiling young Senorita de Sinaloa. If GDL dominates AB, then Sinaloa owns Trop. I think most guys associate Trop with night time fun, but I've had some awesome daytime experiences there. Remember, many of the chicas live in the hotel upstairs or across the street and are totally bored, so why not work? Granted, it's hit and miss during the day and it's a little slow right now, but Trop reflects the saying Northeasterners have regarding their everchanging weather: If you don't like it, just wait a minute. Last night, for example, I hung out briefly looking out at nothing when in walked a chica I've been meaning to get to know for a long time and she turned out to be not only fun downstairs, but very sweet upstairs. 3. Miami...This club does not have the greatest lookers in the zona to be sure, but it can be a lot of fun also. The chicas all dance and there is an occasional gem. I also like the layout of the club as opposed to a cramped and noisy Carreta, for example. The floor show is not bad either. 4. CC...I only add the CC here because I've had some GREAT experiences with chicas there in the past. But right now is the worst time of year for the CC--it's downright FRIGID and slow. With this current cold snap, I'm surprised anybody goes upstairs to that icebox of a hotel. And if they do, they probably won't be returning anytime soon! It can still be fun to hang out there and watch the floorshow. Plus, the management/help has always been really cool with me and some of the chicas are great to hang with despite the high priced chica drinks. I go into the other bars out of curiousity, but most are just dives IMO. I rate El Pollo the best of the rest, but why waste time there when AB or Trop is calling my name (or should I say money!)?
