In psychological circles, it's known as "Buyer's Remorse"...(True!) This is the difficult time after you make a purchase where you question your decision..."Did I really need this?", "Was this really what I wanted?", "Maybe I could've gotten a better deal...", etc... It's an extremely common phenomena and follows almost every "committed" transaction...buying a car, getting married, betting a particular team to win, etc... This phenomena tends to re-inforce the notion of "intertia"...people hate to change...Making any kind of selection implies a commitment of sorts...As former California Gov. Jerry Brown allegedly told Linda Rondstadt during their "involvement", "Choice is the enemy of commitment..." Some states (like California) actually allow you a period of time to reconsider a purchase (3 days, I believe) and then retract the sale... KRICO
