Mi amigos,

I see a lot of posts (and get a lot of e-mails) from guys who are planning their first ever "Zona run". It wasn't all that long ago that I was asking the same thing. This board has given me so much info that I thought it's time I "give back" to it. The following is a note I wrote to a "1st Timer" getting ready for his first trip. Everyone has their own opinions, as they are entitled to, about what to do on your first visit to the zona. Since I am still a relative "newbie" I just wrote what my first trip was like. Not a real "chica report", but more of what it was like my first time........

===============================
So......you're finally going to make your first trip to TJ? You'll notice the majority of the "vets" are suggesting you go directly to Adelita's.

Take their advice!

I too knew nothing about TJ and the "zona" other than what I read on these boards, but all the "studying" in the world can't prepare you for your first visit. On my first visit I was SO overwhelmed I was almost in shock. I had a complete "agenda" all figured out for my trip, including different clubs to see, a mental list of certain chicas to look for, plans to cruise the "alley" and check out SG's............well my "trip agenda" lasted about 10 seconds! I'm not looking to put you on a bummer by any means, just trying to remember what it was like on my first trip, since it really wasn't that long ago. I'll be honest and tell you I was VERY intimidated. The first time I went upstairs with a chica was WAY different than I expected it would be. In LA I've seen escorts for years and there is always that "warming-up" period before you actually get it on. With my first chica in TJ we walked in the room, she immediately got undressed and sat on the bed with a puzzled look on her face like "what are you waiting for?". It wasn't a bad session, and the chica did nothing wrong, it's just that even though I did all my "homework" and knew these girls are just doing what they do to make a living, I was still used to at least a little "make-believe" romance like a US escort gives me.

After my first trip I had to think if I really enjoyed it or not. Nothing went wrong, it's just SO different than what I was used to in the US. Oh, remember my "trip agenda" I had figured out? I never even made it to the "alley" untill my 3rd trip!

So, mi amigo, you want some advice from someone who is still a "relative newbie"?..............head straight to AB's, and "soak-up" the atmosphere. DO NOT feel like you've got to hit all the other spots we talk about on this board, and my advice is don't try to go down there you're first time with a "mental list" of certain chicas you have read about here on these boards.

Believe me, I got a lot of advice before my first trip from the "vets", and the overwhelming majority simply put it this way....

"learn to walk first, then run"

Well they were all correct! Hell, I've been going to the zona now for 5 months and I'm STILL learning how to "walk". But, I assure you each visit I have made has been better than the last one, and they all have been SAFE visits.

Hope your trip is a fun AND safe one, mi amigo!!!!!

Billy
