Hey Brother Specs, In my book, brother, you get BIG TIME props for that kind of honesty (I'm assumin' it IS honesty and you're not really a 22 year old Ricky Martin look-alike!). I admit, you sometimes write things here I don't understand, or which have even made me think you're kind of...a loser (the stuff about the girl who was checking out what you wrote about her through her friend *really* had me wantin' to send a note sayin' "Dude, fuckin' get some nuts and DROP the cryin' already!")--that's *me* bein' honest!--but you've brought home to me somethin' that's as real as real gets. Namely, that we all of us are workin' in this thing from some position of NEEDINESS, and all of us have disadvantages and handicaps to work with ('cept you young, good-lookin', charming, smart, RICH muthafuckas out there--and remind me again why you're goin' to TJ to pay for it?), but it's easy to forget that and get stuck into some fantasy about havin' all the pull and bein' the hippest and that the chicas all love ya and all that (or at least, I catch myself thinkin' that now and again!), and the reality is always more complicated than that.
