I don't know if it's still a part of his FAQ but at one point Brockton O'Toole advised against sitting at the bar because it was the chicas' space. Based on my experience it may be their space but they don't mind sharing it. The last two times I've been at CC I've been the recipient of some interaction that I'm not sure would have happened if I was holding up the wall or sitting at a booth. On both occasions it was initiated by the girls themselves and only once did it involve there a request to buy them a drink which I declined based on ficha prices at CC. In the past I've never made a real effort to sit at the bar-BTW not based on BOT's advice-but now I think I will at least when the variedad isn't in progress.
