To be "in love" requires that it be reciprocal. All kinds of other emotions do not have to be reciprocal, but true romantic love love does, IMO. That is not to say that the other feelings can not be extremely strong and be the cause of much longing and misery. But my experience is that these go away faster. However, the fact of a shared child throws in a whole new element. If you really love her (more than feeling strongly about her), and she loves you, you have to work on a compromise. Relationships that have worked through problems come out stronger that ever. If the reciprocal love is not there, it is time to move on with your life. Either one is going to take work. Buena Suerte
