Bars closed at 3am - it was weird! Cops were everywhere inforcing the rule. You are right about the cheap allnighters - hah! Maybe it isn't that bad. Gets me out of the bar, and in the sack earlier. The chick I was with said that this is the way it is going to be from now on. We need to get the straight story on this - is it permenant, or just for a few weeks, or what? I started talking to this other "old pro" while I was waiting for my chick to change in the bathroom, while everyone was filing out of the place(what a zoo) - I was saying how they at least ought to let it stay open until 4am - especially on Saturdays. She was saying it should go back to 5am(that is what it was for years). It was only recently that these places started staying open 24hrs - so this may be a temporary knee-jerk, lashback reaction. I would think the closing times will get extended past 3am fairly soon. 3am is just too fucking early - especially on a Friday, or Saturday.
