The great thing about Unicornio, Isis, Bambi and Sans Souci (be alert to the possibility of gender confusion at the last two) is that they are all just steps away from each other on Revo near 7th (Isis is on 7th near Revo). You have nothing to lose by walking in and looking around. You will be able to form an opinion in under a minute about whether it is worth it to stay for a beer. Then go to the next one. Repeat. I have found that these bars vary not only day to day but from hour to hour. The strip club in the back of the Hotel Ceasar Restuarant is worth checking but only after 10:00 pm. It is 2 blocks north. And then there are the Peanuts & Beer, Catwalk, Madonna's and Caribbean joints, but you are on your own at those. Try 'em all. Half the fun is looking around. Then head to the zona. |
