You will have a blast. I can help you more if I know if you are flying to laredo or driving. The Reforma Hotel downtown is where I stayed and is the preferred location because it has a 24 hour bar and restraunt and you can see the main square if you have aroom on that side. I enjoyed hanging out in the main square and of course you are in short walking distance of the clubs downtown if you get bored. From the Reforma Hotel you can take a taxi across the border all the way to the airport if you wish. You can bring girls up to the room if you have registered for two people. The Reforma has a parking lot that is safe behind the hotel. There are always taxis parked around the main square 24 hours a day. There is an internet cafe on Guerrero (the main street through downtown) which the Reforma is on. If you speak no Spanish at all then get a spanish phrase book from the bookstore and write out the questions and just point to them. Tiene un cuarto para dos (do you have a room for 2D) If you pay cash ask for a receipt. Usually during the day the Reforma has someone who speaks English |
