I don't go into Carreta much at all any more, but it used to be a regular stop on the bar crawl tour. IMO it has gone downhill a bit lately, but then again, they are sharing all their chicas among several bars. The MC got more and more amusing the further I dipped into my 40. Funny how that happens...

The former evening head waiter/doorman from La Carreta shocked the heck out of me by trying to drag me into Amor Latino the other night while sitting out front. I guess the slowdown at Carreta made him seek greener pastures.

As far as employment possibilities for your novia, she has worked at least for a short time in quite a number of bars and she probably knows the ins and outs pretty well. One thing to check out is the rumored re-division of Hong Kong/Miami. They have an operational dividing wall, so it doesn't seem too far fetched. An interesting thought is that it has been almost exactly a year since they tore out the wall in the first place. Maybe Hong Kong got a one year ban of some kind???
