After having read Ahora007's posts, I think that his comments are based on misperceptions of the initial post: First off, Ahora007 is claiming that there is no bar fine to take a chica to the bar's particular hotel (such as taking an AB chica to the Hotel Coahuila). This is absolutely correct. However, the initial issue was the bar fine to take a chica to a hotel that is NOT operated by the particular bar, such as taking an AB chica to Motel Parador. There is indeed a bar fine that someone (either the chica or monger) has to pay to remove a chica from her place of employment. Secondly, the issue of a monger HAVING TO buy a chica a drink. Ahora007 claims that there is no drink quota at AB. This again, is a case where 2 different issues are being confused. There are times when AB management will install a drink quota on the chicas. If they do not generate X number of fichas on a given night or given week, they are fined or fired. This quota does not require clients to buy drinks for the chicas, but does make the chicas more insistent that customers buy them multiple drinks. I believe that the chicas can offset this quota with trips to the hotel, since some high volume chicas rarely accept drinks from customers. On the other hand, Ahora007 is claiming that there is no drink quota for CUSTOMERS, and he is *correct*. There is never a requirement for customers to buy chicas drinks. There is, however, significant pressure for customers to buy themselves drinks. You can sit with a chica all day long, and never have to buy her a drink. However, since the chicas are in business, they tend to want their customers to buy them drinks. Ahora007 may be another WestFargo, a guy for which the chicas would gladly sit and talk to all day without asking him to buy them drinks. For the rest of us, if we come into the bar to do business, the chicas will want us to buy them drinks. |
