I wouldn't say stupid, but probably more localized pricing concepts based on TJ Zona and other Mexican cities. I've paid as little as $3. US (Hong Kong circa '70) to almost $500.(Toronto '98) and it all depended on the lady and what the tarrif would handle. In all cases, it's almost never worth a plug nickel five minutes later. That's why they get their money first unless you're a regular. You can't tell me that it doesn't hurt to pull out that money afterwards. LOL. The problem is rreally two fold. Guys who have a lot of extra money tipping and paying more than the going rate to impress (they think) the ladies which drives up prices, and the others who have less money, but still try to squeeze more. I like to be somewhere in the middle. The girls will always want more money, and it's just a matter of time until the prices are driven up. So, enjoy it while you can. |
