I have not parked on the U.S. side in months, but when I did, this is the lot I used the most. If they have any spaces coned off near the front, tell them you will be staying overnight and ask them to let you park there. They will expect a tip, but $3 - $5 should suffice. I have parked in other parts of the lot and never had a problem, however.
