Once, when coming back, this peon customs douchebag asked me what my purpose was in going to Tijuana. I told him I just went down to enjoy the day, and eat a couple of tacos. His reply? "So you really expect me to believe that you drove all the way down to Mexico just to eat come tacos, and then go back?" My reply? "I don't expect you to believe anything. The fact is, the great thing about being an American is that if you want to cross the border to eat some tacos, there is no law against it, and nothing anyone can do to stop you." A more reasonable customs person intervened, and pushed the blatant asshead aside. I know, there is not much to be expected of someone who is such an asshole he makes his livlihood hassling people at the border, and locking people up for technical violations of draconian laws. That does not mean that I have to offer these "people" any excuses, though. "What were you afraid of or what did you resent?" I resent government agents that fuck with people for crossing a line in the sand. Fuck them, and fuck you too.
