On my first trip to TJ i flew in and didn't know the specifics on the bus/trolley.I knew that cabs charged nearly forty dollars to la linea so i walked out to the shuttle bus area and asked if there were any suttles to the border.I was pointed to a shuttle that was loaded up with three sailors returning to base.i believe it was about ten dollars to be dropped by the border gates but we had to drop off the sailors on the way.Since this time i have taken the airport flyer/trolley combination with the exception of on time when taking the amtrak down from LA and the train was delayed because of a train/car accident which put us in San Diego after the last southbound trolley.I ended up sharing a cab with three mexican nationals in the same predicament. They seemed worried about me when we crossed so late and made sure i made it to a cab on the mexican side safely.
