YoungBrig, You're playing a high-risk, high-reward game with the odds against you. Many guys on this board continuously focus on the small odds of success and conclude that it's a fool's game and that anyone who plays it is a fool. They become particularly cynical after getting burned a few times and have painful personal experiences to reinforce their cynicism. However, in my experience the benefits of finding a winner are large enough to outweigh the small probability of any specific girl being a winner. I had to go through more than a 100 amigas to find that amiga especial that more than made up for the time, money, and effort of the screening. I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning but managed to hang in there and keep going because I always cut my losses short with any particular candidate when it wasn't working. My personal definition of whether it was working or not was how I felt afterwards. One of the first loss-cut points I used was whether they showed up for dates or not. My amiga especial operates on "Mexican time" and can be as much as an hour and a half late for dates, but she always comes through. I handle it by arranging to meet her in places where I enjoy myself until she gets there. Also, her coming to my hotel room and waking me up bypasses the whole issue of "Mexican time" versus our highly efficient but stressful, clock-watching "on-time". Regards, |
