Buy a copy of another lesser known alternative browser like Opera (opera.com) . Use that as your browser instead of Internet Explorer. You could even install Opera into a folder made invisible by your magic folder program. If you keep Internet Explorer as the default browser for day to day browsing and only use Opera for your "special browsing" the history and bookmarks from your "special" browsing will only show up in Opera. Chances are your wife wouldn't know what Opera was if she saw it on the drive, and if you managed to hide it in a hidden folder, she wouldn't find it anyway.
