I took my favorita to Parador on Wednesday. Like most of Tijuana her apartment didn't have water due to a water main break and she really appreciated the chance to get a good shower. (I read that most large businesses have cisterns.) Nobody spoke English, so my favorita had to do the talking. The posted rates are 490 pesos for a Jacuzzi, 330 pesos for a standard room. The sign said 9.58 pesos/dollar. So, I paid $35. It may be a little better to bring pesos. The english sign on the room door said checkout at 2PM. So, there doesn't seem to be a short time rate. The room was nice, better than a Motel 6, less than a Holiday Inn. There is room service for food and drinks. They put the items into a revolving platform in the wall, so you don't have to open the door. There was free porno on TV.
