I tend to agree. I have two boys now 15 and 13. I have been divorced for a number of years, but up until 3 years ago, I built my entire schedule on trying to do the right things for the kids. I still spend a fair amount of time with them, despite not living in the same house, but have gotten back to establishing my own life. I coached sports teams, quit smoking and drinking, didn't chase silly women, and tried to be emotionally available for their needs. The last one was the toughest. I mean to tell you that prior to becoming a dad this was not my nature and I didn't change all at once. I'll have to remember to thank them for the help with the cigarettes and booze. I would have never quit either one without them. Oh, and I have a tendency to form friendships with chicas with teen and pre-teen sons. We seem to have a lot to talk about. I bring in sports jerseys, and odds and ends stuff that I know my guys would like. I also find that women that make it to this point tend to have some depth of character and aren't spending all the money on drugs, booze, and clothes. I need to feel useful ? Yeah, probably. Ademas, me mejoro de espaņol como esto.
