Mongers - Habana Club 7 An~os is highly recommended - I bring some back every time I travel south of the border. Now the trick of course is that as a Cuban product it is technically contraband. However, you are entitled to bring back one liter of alcohol, so at US Customs when asked "anything to declare" I say "I've got one bottle of liquor" - they have never asked me "what kind" or asked to inspect the bottle or anything like that. I usually wrap it in some newspaper and a couple of paper backs to keep it from breaking in my luggage. Now if it ever were to be inspected, not very likely, you can play dumb and pretend you didn't know you couldn't bring back cuban rum, etc. I don't think they look at this the same way as the crack down on cigars. YMMV. - Happy Mongering, Viva Mexico, Viva Cuba.
