If I may be quote part of a line from Mr. Kendricks' post 2 levels up what many guys worry about is losing what may be their only real source of nearby female companionship. Our society paints such a negative, and mostly misleading, picture of prostitution that it is very difficult to a man (a john if you will) to be seen as anything but an exploiter, abuser, a leech, a pervert, a loser, etc. There is no room for the image of a man who is unable, for whatever reasons, to obtain a "normal" relationship with someone within his own society. Some guys to to TJ to fuck while others go to, hopefully, make love. And sometimes the later end up getting fucked in their search but that's another story. TJResearcher, I have no idea of the scoop of your project and where you ultimately wish to take it. I can only suggest that you follow the links on these sites to other sites where issues of real consideration are discussed by men who are seeking a loving relationship with a foreign national. Whether it be from Russia, Colombia, The Phillipines, or elsewhere, there are vast numbers of unhappy American men who want something deeper and longer lasting than 30 minutes above the bar. These men are often quite bitterly articulate about why they have forsaken women of their own background and are searching abroad for what they feel no longer exists in the USA. And we are not talking about some docile wife to obey his every bidding although that is the way the media and certain interest groups like to portray it. There are some fundamental disconnects in our society on how people are treating one another. Men and women both are unhappy with the opposite sex. A large part of what goes on in TJ is just plain having fun with guys getting their rocks off with lots of different women. A perfectally normal biological activity. However, another equally large group are men attempting to fill a void in their own lives and trying to use the readily available/pliable prostitute as a substitute for a type of relationship that is gradually disappearing within our own culture.
