You think thats funny/strange/weird, my fav and I were dancing right next door a few weeks ago at LC. The music was nice and slow, the dance floor was not too crowded except for a few other couples. As we were dancing, the music ended. We decided to wait until the next song before determining whether or not we should remain dancing. There was a couple next us who also finished dancing. They guy kept on telling the girl that he had no more money left yet he still wanted to remain dancing with her. He said once he gets paid he will pay her for her time. My fav and I were kind of amused by his offer because first of all, nothing is for free, and if you don't have the money to play, then you should not purchase any of the toys ;-). Needless to say, the girl thanked him and walked away, apparently, she too needs to earn a living, cause as little as she may make, more than likely, she has mouths to feed or perhaps needs to take care of other family members. It reminded me so much of whimpie from popeye. I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a burger I can have today! Raiders. |
