TJResearcher's comments are credible to me. I think she is what she says. There is a minority trend within the feminist-academic community which is pro-sexual freedom, and favors benefiting the conditions of sex workers. Her comments fits within this school of thought. This grouping often has bitter battles with the pro-censorship, sex-repressive wing of feminists which has allied itself at times with the religious fundamentalist nazis.

The only downside to her activity for us is the possible repercussions of increased media scrutiny of la zona, leading to pressure on hte local authorities to restrict our fun. However, since the scene in TJ is hardly a secret, the media could do a sensational story about it anytime they want, whether or not academics are studying it. And it is doubtful to me that local authorities would change their long established policies in any lasting and substantial way just because of some negative media. So I think the possibility of a negative impact for us is small.
