Where he get his wack-ass ideas? Same place everybody else gets 'em--handed down from the moral po-lice. They ain't one lick a truth in the idea that 'intellectuals' is more morally aware or open than the average fucked-up, backwards ass fundamentalist bigot--fact, they got most of the same prejudices in common. Why you think the fundies and the rad femmies hold hands so steady on the pornography issue? Afraid of the same thangs--people gettin' butt naked and fuckin' (outside of marriage and monogamy) an' enjoyin' it. 'Intellectuals' is afraid of real life, that's why they's intellectuals. You could tell this little punk that he works with brothers he thinks is JUST LIKE HIM (boring and 'normal') who's really gettin' they groove on in TJ or somewhere else, and he either wouldn't believe it, or he'd go ballistic and wanna see 'em thrown outta his little world and inta jail (or into feminist political re-education camp). It would threaten his dull-ass world too much to accept that somebody could be both in his world (part-time) and in another one where those moral rules didn't stick. Guess what, homes? The brother in da office right next to yours is plannin' a trip to TJ RIGHT NOW.
