Here are some brief observations from Thursday night's visit. Deja Vu Massage
Paid my second visit around 7:00 p.m. They seemed to have changed the format since my last visit (about 4 months ago). I was quoted $20 for massage, $30 for topless massage and $40 for jacuzzi & massage. I opted for the $30 package and was led back to one of the rooms. Same as last time, the attendant said to wait for "presentation of ladies." Last time the line up was 5 or 6. This time there were only three. I picked a blonde, with hair in a pony tail, named Denise. When Denise stripped down to her thong she displayed what to me were an incredible set of natural, pancake nippled breasts, which she let me play with at will. She actually gave a pretty good massage and it was kind of nice having those soft breasts continually brushing against me. When she had me turn over, after a period of massage, she began to tickle me and give a light HJ while asking if I wanted her to continue. She quoted $20 for the HJ (sorry, I didn't get the quotes for other services). When I declined she continued the massage, but wrapped it up rather quickly. All in all I got a little over a half hour of massage. I didn't feel ripped off, but don't have any great urges to return. Cheaters
Deja Vu is on 6'th Street, about 3 blocks West of Revolution. On leaving, I headed East on 6'th, towards Revolution. About one block East of Deja Vu I saw a sign "Cheaters", with a pair of lips and a finger as a part of the design. The sign said something like "Salon, Vapor, Jacuzzi por Caballeros." The entrance lead up a flight of stairs bordered with faux Roman statue works. I was kind of pushed for time so I didn't go in. However, everything about the place said sex would be available. Anyone ever tried it? Next trip, time allowing, I'll give it a review. Odessa 2001
Back in the security of the Zona I wandered around checking our a few clubs. I wandered into Odessa 2001 (formerly Odessa 2000). They have changed the motif since my last visit, which has to be over a year ago. They now have two stages for the dancers - the original, towards the back of the bar, and a newly constructed plywood platform just off the end of the bar. Both were in operation, with half decent dancers going only to topless. There were maybe 10 customers in the place. They have taken all of the booths and put them upstairs. The upstairs area is real dark, particularly where the booths are, with another, smaller, bar. One of the bar tenders told me that if you buy one of the girls a drink you go to the upstairs booths with her. Outside of the two dancers I only saw one other girl in the place (at about 8:30 p.m.). When I went upstairs to use the restroom (clean and well kept up, believe it or not) I saw one other girl coming downstairs with a customer. He (a gringo) had kind of a neutral look on his face, so I got no clue as to how things went. No one else was using the upstairs area at that time. On another note, later in the evening, I had some good times with one of my favorites, who oft- times resembles a Hoover. This time I got a closer look, with the lights on. Yes, Pop, it is a boob job. And a very nice one at that. In addition, she's been on a vegetable diet for about two months and has really slimmed down in the mid-section - looks damned good!
