it is my opinion that if you pay bribes to the police in mexico you just make it harder for everyone else. most of the time they let you go if you dont pay them cause they dont want to waste time dealing with you and the judge as they will get no money from that. also if you do go in front of the judge you almost always end up paying less than the bribe. you go see the judge and it takes about 5 minutes tops.
