When visiting Juarez to study Latin culture a fun and inexpensive way to get a look at Juarez is to take the El Paso -Juarez Trolley for $11 roundtrip. It leaves the El Paso visitors center for a one hour trip through Juarez with 11 stops en route for eating,drinking or shopping. YOu can get at any and catch a later trolley. The trolleys run every hour. It is a good way to get over being nervous when it is the first time you have crossed the border into Mexico. Amazing enough you can meet foreign tourists on the trolley ride and that could make for interesting possibilities. ONe enterprising guy got a Juarez map took the trolley to one of its 11 stops that was within walking distance to the Serenas massage place and never even took a taxi. Hovever the OLD MARKET PLACE south of the Cathedral is NOT on the Trolley tour, which is more for tourists. I hardly ever have ever seen any tourists in the OLD MARKET PLACE which is too bad because I think it is the most colorful and interesting. I am still amazed that each time I go to Juarez I find a new place for street girls in the OLD MARKET PLACE. This last time were the youngest I have ever seen-maybe 17 or 18 years old-but of course it is hard to tell for sure............doctorgood
