LD, my experience with "freebies" tends to match yours...The two chicas that have offered me "freebies" had been ones that I had been with before...one a long time favorita and the other I had screwed for money only twice (the 2-timer had been married to a gringo, so she knew what she was looking for...)...That's two offers in 4 years - not out of the realm of probability.

Ya got me, though...Women can be pretty much unpredictable regardless of culture. Sometimes I would get amazingly lucky at singles' bars back in the '70's and 80's...although at the time I attributed it to "personal charm"...but of course, that was a different era.

I was listening to an interview on NPR yesterday with John LeCarre, the former real life spy and current fiction writer who pointed out that when recruiting agents from the "other side", he had to make the "recruitee" somehow dependent on him to keep him comin' back for more...LeCarre said that if nothing else, he could at least be a source of entertainment for the "recruitee"! That's the word he used, "entertainment".

Chicas are workin' that angle, I do believe...
