She applied for and received the Visa legitimately, so there was no significant cost, somesort of fee, but nothing significant. I didn't know that she had applied for a Visa until she actually had it in January. I do know that it took her a few months to get it and the process was greatly helped by the fact that she owned property and had money in the bank.
