Do they ALL suck? Are all of 'em are a rip-off? Or do they just suck in comparison to the FS opportunities at AB, CC, etc? If we are looking for strip bar entertainment, (as opposed to a no-BS, FS club like Adelitas) what do ya think? A couple of weeks ago, I made my first trip to TJ. I got talked into heading WAY down a stairway into a dungeon-like place called "Mike's"- I think that was the name- the barker's name was Luis. Young kid, funny, nice enough, but definitely on the hustle. "If you need ANYTHING while in TJ....", ya know? Anyway, it was dark, and this BIG chica greets me as I headed through the curtain. Kinda sexy, she definitely what my Mexicano friends call "soucia" (i.e; sexy dirty). Maybe I'm being paranoid, but she (?) gave off a very "masculine" vibe. She gave me a strong "c'mon, stay!" hug. I double checked for my wallet, said "Maybe next time", and headed back up the stairs to Rev. "There will be no next time at Mike's! But ya know what? It was no worse of a hustle than the pests at Fritz's in Anaheim, or Fantasy Island in West L.A., or Captain Creams near El Toro. What are the bioggest hustles in the Ave. Rev clubs that you mentioned?
