I'm starting to get withdrawals . . . I haven't been to the Holy City since President's Day, and I have commitments all weekend . . . I'm going to plan a bombing run for some night next week, and just make up some bullshit to get away . . . I'm starting to feel like Ed Norton in Fight Club: "Once you start fighting, the volume on the rest of your life gets turned down". Just substitute "mongering" for "fighting", and it's the same concept - once you escape boring reality to an ultra-reality, it's really hard to get excited over the mundane crap that US society is essentailly comprised of . . . .
