The first thing to realize is that if you went on a Saturday, your chances of being rushed go way up. Friday isn't much better IMO unless you already have a good rapport with a chica. As far as the tops not coming off unless you paid more money, that's ridiculous. That has never happened to me and you could have asked for your money back at that point (something I've never had to do, btw), but I can understand your reluctance to do that given you were a newbie just looking to have a good time with your boyfriend. Of course, what a couple gets from las chicas might also depend on the impression you give. I was in recently and witnessed a blonde gringa in her thirties dancing on an empty dance floor like she wanted to strip. Well, the crowd gathered, imploring her to take it off. Not only did she have no rythm, but she didn't take it off to the disappointment of the crowd. The chica I was sitting with told me no way would she do that "loca gringa" and her bf and she had been asked already by the gringa. Can't blame her from what I saw. I also don't feel it's necessary to negotiate up front for services, unless it's something you just have to have or is unusual. I feel it's more important to get the right vibe from the chica, show her a good time, laugh with em a little, etc...I also have a more enjoyable experience this way. I find if I do that I have a much better time in the room and get what I want 99% of the time. I think this would apply with the female to female thing also. Make it easy for them to say yes. I'm also surprised you didn't take small bills to Revo in order to avoid the $20 bill scam. All the elements exist in the zona to either have a great time or a real bummer. Enjoying a bar chica does not have to be like buying car options...unless you choose to take that approach. Celtics
