Trinity L., thanks for the nice post, full of local color and information. It's interesting to me that your experience as a couple reflects a lot of the same pitfalls that single guys have to avoid when in TJ: scams, negotiating, being rushed, demands for more money, etc. It's a little heartening to know us guys aren't being discriminated against; it's just business as usual in TJ.

My favorita at Adelita's is always insisting that there are a lot of women there that prefer women. I have heard this same comment from several other AB chicas. However, whenever I ask them to be specific, I always get a vague response like, "Oh, well there was this one girl..." So I don't know if their perception is really accurate or is just part of a kind of local hooker's mythology that's based on misinformation and gossip. If they're to be believed, further visits should turn up some willing partners for you and your BF.

As far as visiting on the weekend, if you've monitored this board, I'm sure you know that the weekend is when the chicas are most likely to rush you. I normally visit during the week, and find Wednesdays and Thursdays, which have a large number of women but relatively fewer customers, to be especially good nights when you can often bargain for deals that are simply unavailable on the weekends. If you can swing such a trip mid-week, and can afford an hour, which will give you the time to relax and really enjoy the experience, I think you're chances of getting a lady to accompany you for a VERY reasonable price is pretty good and may be precisely the experience you two are looking for.
